Mr. Aro joined Ponder & Co.'s Capital Markets Group in 2009. His day to day responsibilities include financial modeling and analytical reporting for clients' bond and swap portfolios. These analyses cover areas of cash flow expectations, mark-to-market and collateral posting stress tests as well as accounting assistance with FASB 133 and 157.

Prior to joining Ponder & Co., he worked as a Financial Analyst for Whirlpool Corporation. His primary responsibilities included cash flow projections and income statement analysis for Whirlpool's Cooking product line. In addition, he also worked in Whirlpool's Internal Audit division where he participated in multiple audits both from an operational and Sarbanes Oxley control standpoint.

Mr. Aro received his Bachelor's degree with a major in Economics and minors in Finance and Chinese from Vanderbilt University in 2008, and was a recipient of the Ingram Scholarship.
