Mr. Kirkpatrick joined Ponder & Co. in 2006. Responsibilities include quantitative analysis of derivative products and other financing tools.

Prior to joining Ponder & Co., he has fourteen years of experience working in the investment banking sector as a municipal bond trader both on the buy-side and on the dealer-side. On the buy-side, Mr. Kirkpatrick co-managed a $3 billion tender option book that was hedged with LIBOR swaps and BMA swaps. As a market-maker, he also hedged bonds with various financial instruments and worked with institutional clients to address their needs.

Mr. Kirkpatrick received his B.S. from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
