Mr. Ostlund joined Ponder & Co. in 2001. He has provided services to the healthcare industry for more than 20 years.

Mr. Ostlund started his healthcare career as a member of Ernst & Young's Consulting Practice. Here, he developed financial feasibility studies, acquisition analyses, debt capacity studies, credit evaluation analyses and cost accounting studies for healthcare organizations.

For more than nine years, Mr. Ostlund was a member of the Healthcare Finance Group at Lehman Brothers. He provided investment banking services to hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, physician practice groups, and long-term care facilities. He has participated in the public issuance of more than $5 billion of capital financing, and worked extensively on the development and application of variable rate, interest rate swap and derivative products to the healthcare marketplace.

Mr. Ostlund was also the founder of Atlantic Caregivers. Established in 1996, this firm grew to a six-office home healthcare agency with operations in five counties in central Florida.

Mr. Ostlund received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant's exam and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
