Mr. Head joined Ponder & Co.'s Capital Markets Group in May of 1991. His primary responsibilities from the time he joined the firm until present include quantitative and structural analysis on derivatives, complex evaluation of fixed income assets and liabilities, and municipal debt issuance pricing. He has been involved in the structuring and execution of over $5 billion in derivatives over the last year. Previous to his current responsibilities, Mr. Head also served as investment manager for seventeen of the firm's clients and assets in excess of $900 million.

Prior to joining the Company, he managed fixed income portfolios for SunTrust Banks totaling $1.3 billion. In addition to the $1.3 billion under his direct supervision, Mr. Head consulted on an additional $4.5 billion in portfolio assets. These assets under management included Asset-Backed Securities, Floating Rate Obligations, Collateralized Mortgage Obligations, Treasuries, Federal Agencies, money markets, and interest rate swaps. Mr. Head was also integrally involved with the asset/liability management process for all member banks.

Mr. Head received his degree from the University of Georgia and holds securities industry registrations including NASD 7, 52, and 63.
